Provincial Environmental Authority of the North Western Province

 The Provincial Environmental Authority of the North Western Province (PEA-NWP) has been established under the provisions given by Provincial Environmental Statute No. 12 of 1990. This Authority operates under the Chief Ministry of the North Western Provincial Council. PEA-NWP is located in Kurunegala city of North Western Province. This Authority renders an enormous service in terms Natural Resources Management and Environmental Protection in the NWP as a service providing and low enforcement institution.
